Who We Install For

Wi-Fi for Newcastle businesses and homes.

Every network is surveyed and planned around the building, the number of people using it and what needs to stay separate.

Offices & workspaces

Reliable coverage for every desk and meeting room, with separate networks for staff, guests and devices.

Bars, restaurants & hotels

Guest Wi-Fi that copes with a busy Saturday night, kept apart from your tills and card machines.

Shops & retail

Secure networks for payments and stock systems, with optional customer Wi-Fi.

Homes

Whole-home Wi-Fi for terraces, period houses and new build properties, from the cellar to the attic and the garden.

City Buildings, Sorted

Thick walls, busy airwaves, several floors.

A lot of Newcastle’s buildings are older than Wi-Fi. We plan around what usually gets in the way:

  • Thick brick and stone walls? Access points placed room by room, cabled back so each one runs at full speed, not meshed.
  • Crowded city-centre signal? We survey the networks around you and set channels and power so yours stays fast.
  • Several floors? Access points on each floor instead of one router struggling from the hallway.
  • Period features? Neat cable routes that work around cornices, panelling and listed details.
Kit We Use

Ubiquiti UniFi & TP-Link Omada

Business-grade access points managed from one app. As UniFi installers, we can add CCTV and door access to the same system.

★★★★★

"We used Smartsys to install a new CCTV and Wi-Fi network, as well as a lengthy fibre optic run between two buildings at our new industrial premises. They were a pleasure to work with — tidy work, and Daniel really took the time to understand our business and requirements. Highly recommended."

Thick brick and stone walls, several floors and long layouts block a single router's signal. The fix is usually a few access points in the right places, cabled back to the router, so every room gets a strong connection.
