In Spring 2025, Smartsys completed a major technology deployment for Partnerize, a Newcastle-based global software platform with offices worldwide. The project focused on delivering a seamless, fully integrated IT and workplace technology solution across their new state-of-the-art offices in Newcastle and Central London.
The Challenge
As Partnerize expanded into new office spaces, they wanted more than just standard Wi-Fi and access control. Their goals were clear:
- Provide staff with a modern, secure, and frictionless way to enter offices using only their mobile phones.
- Ensure reliable, enterprise-grade Wi-Fi throughout the workplace.
- Enhance security with a comprehensive CCTV system with AI-enhancements and remote playback.
- Improve meeting room functionality with professional-grade AV and collaboration tools.
- Give the IT team remote visibility and control over all systems from one central dashboard.
Our Solution
To meet these needs, our team designed and implemented a full-stack UniFi deployment, combining several critical technologies into one unified platform:
- UniFi Access: Secure door entry system, allowing staff to use their smartphone as their key, and providing their IT team and management with
- UniFi Wi-Fi – Robust, high-speed wireless coverage across all office areas.
- UniFi Protect CCTV – High-definition camera network integrated into the same UniFi ecosystem, delivering full-site visibility and easy management.
In addition to the UniFi infrastructure, we also equipped Partnerize with:
- Interactive meeting room displays for seamless presentations and collaboration.
- Large-format TVs for workplace communications and team use.
- Poly video and voice systems, ensuring high-quality conferencing across global teams.
- Full Category 6 cabling throughout both locations and installation of data cabinets, switching equipment and routers.
The Outcome
With this deployment, Partnerize staff can now access the building securely using only their smartphone. Their IT team benefits from one unified dashboard, giving them complete oversight of networking, security, and access systems across multiple sites.
By consolidating what would normally be several disconnected systems into a single, integrated platform, we’ve given Partnerize a workplace technology foundation that is scalable, easy to manage, and future-proof.
